Ang Wee Gee to succeed Kevin Wong at the helm of Keppel Land

Keppel Land Limited (Keppel Land) today announced that its CEO, Mr Kevin Wong will be leaving the Company on 31 December 2012 to pursue his personal interests.

Mr Ang Wee Gee, 50, will succeed Mr Wong as CEO on 1 January 2013. He will remain as Executive Vice Chairman of Keppel Land China Limited, which was formed in October 2010 to strengthen the Company's focus in China.

Mr Ang, who holds an MBA from Imperial College, University of London, joined Keppel Land in 1991 and was appointed Executive Director of Keppel Land International Limited and Chief Executive Officer, International, in 2008. His other prior appointments in the Keppel Land Group include being Assistant General Manager, Singapore, and Country Head, Vietnam, before assuming the appointment of Director of Regional Investments of Keppel Land International Limited, in charge of overseas businesses of the Keppel Land Group.

Mr Choo Chiau Beng, CEO of Keppel Corporation Limited and Chairman of Keppel Land, said, "On behalf of the Board of Keppel Land, I thank Kevin for his commitment and contributions over two decades of service, which have seen Keppel Land develop a strong reputation for quality and integrity. We wish him the very best as he sets off to pursue his own interests.

I am confident that Wee Gee, with his extensive experience and in-depth understanding of our strengths, will bring Keppel Land to the next level and continue to be a vital part of the Keppel Group."
