Keppel REIT Management appoints Mr Leong Kok Keong as independent director to its Board

Keppel REIT Management Limited (Keppel REIT Management), as Manager of Keppel REIT, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Leong Kok Keong (梁国强) as an independent non-executive director and a member of the Audit and Risk Committee of the Manager, with effect from 30 June 2026. Mr Alan Nisbet, who will retire from the Board on 31 July 2026, will be succeeded by Mr Leong as Chairman of the Audit and Risk Committee with effect from the same date.

Mr Leong, 59, brings more than 30 years of public accounting experience, focusing on the financial services and real estate sectors. In addition to financial reporting matters, he has a keen understanding of governance, risk management, and control and compliance considerations for listed and regulated companies.

Mr Leong was a Partner of KPMG LLP in Singapore from 2002 until his retirement in 2025. From 2010 to 2025, he served as Head of Financial Services Audit, where he oversaw the strategic direction, operating performance and service quality of the practice. He was also a member of KPMG’s Oversight Committee, the governance committee of KPMG, from 2023 to 2025. During his tenure, he worked extensively with S-REITs and other listed and regulated entities, including several of Singapore’s largest financial institutions and listed companies.

In addition, Mr Leong previously held several professional and advisory appointments, including Chairman of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants’ Banking and Finance Committee, as well as memberships on the Singapore Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority’s Financial Reporting Technical Advisory Panel and the National University of Singapore Business School’s Accounting Advisory Board.

Mr Leong is a Fellow of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants and a member of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. He holds a Bachelor of Accountancy (Honours) from the National University of Singapore.

Compositions of the Board and the Board Committees

Following Mr Leong’s appointment and Mr Nisbet’s retirement, the Board of Keppel REIT Management will comprise six directors, of whom four are independent directors and two are female directors. The compositions of the Board and the Board committees with effect from 31 July 2026 will be as follows:
