Keppel Land was named one of the top 40 enterprises for its outstanding efforts in corporate social responsibility (CSR) at the Saigon Times CSR Merit Ceremony and Seminar held on 30 November 2022.
Organised by the Saigon Times Group, the programme aims to recognise companies that have made impactful contributions to the Vietnamese community through socially and environmentally responsible initiatives.
Mr Joseph Low, President (Vietnam) of Keppel Land (middle), received the recognition on behalf of the company at the Saigon Times CSR Merit Ceremony and Seminar.
Mr Joseph Low, President (Vietnam) of Keppel Land, who was also a panellist at the seminar, shared how Keppel Land has made a positive impact on the communities where it operates through sharpening the company’s CSR focus in the areas of environmental stewardship and social responsibility, as well as implementing initiatives to protect the environment, support education and care for the underprivileged, throughout the company’s 30 years in Vietnam.

Mr Low said, “We believe that for sustainable development to be achieved, we need to harmonise three core elements: economic growth, social inclusion and environmental stewardship. These elements are interconnected, and are all crucial for the well-being of individuals and societies. This is also the approach that Keppel Land has adopted in carrying out innovative, sustainable initiatives that drive the Company’s performance while creating positive ESG impact on our stakeholders.”

In addition, the company has been actively supporting the local communities wherever it operates. Since 2019, Keppel Land has contributed close to VND15 billion to the Vietnamese community through its CSR initiatives.
