At Keppel, supporting the education of young generations is a key focus of the Company's CSR initiatives.

To underscore this commitment, on May 30, Keppel, Saigon Centre and Sedona Suites jointly organised an experiential tour to Keppel’s properties in Vietnam for nearly 50 students from Chung Cheng High School (Main). This trip marks the fifth experiential tour by Keppel for high school and university students from both Vietnam and abroad.

Through this trip, the students had the opportunity to learn about Keppel's operations, strategies and achievements over its 3 decades of presence in Vietnam.

Jade Tang, a student from Chung Cheng High School (Main), shared her impressions, “What impressed me most during this visit was how Saigon Centre attracted big, luxurious brands and made efficient use of the mall’s space. I learned that a lot of thought and planning goes into the services and spaces within the property, and how the Company builds relationships with brands to bring them into the mall and retain them.”
At the end of the tour, Mr Lim Kay Siong, Managing Director, Human Resources, Real Estate (Vietnam) and South East Asian Region, Keppel Ltd., spoke to the students on behalf of Keppel. He discussed cultural differences in multinational companies and how to navigate and adapt to these differences. This knowledge is essential for preparing students for their future careers.
