Celesta Avenue, the newest addition to the 6.2-ha CELESTA City, has received a Provisional BCA (Building and Construction Association of Singapore) Green Mark Award earlier April, 2024.
Jointly developed by Keppel and Phu Long, Celesta Avenue features eco environmental friendly design and features that can offer its future residents a more sustainable lifestyle.
The project will utilize green concrete during construction, along with other environmentally friendly materials like Low Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) paint with a high Solar Reflectance Index (SRI) for external walls, and improved glass selection for better control of heat flow and noise reduction through windows. Celesta Avenue will include water-efficient drip irrigation with rain sensors and solar street lighting to enhance energy savings and manage water usage effectively. Additionally, the third phase of CELESTA City will feature a Linear Park with lush greenery to promote a sustainable environment for residents.
