More than 35 students from Ngee Ann Polytechnic (NP), Singapore, recently visited Keppel Sustainable Cities Studio (KSCS) as part of their learning journey to explore real-world applications of smart and sustainable urban solutions.

During the visit, the students were introduced to Keppel’s cutting-edge innovations in smart metering, smart parking, district cooling, and water-sensitive urban design, key solutions that enhance urban efficiency and environmental sustainability.

Additionally, Ngee Ann students also joined a fireside chat with Mr Nguyen Ba Hoc, Vice President, Planning & Design, Real Estate Division (Vietnam), Keppel, who shared valuable insights into Keppel’s sustainability-driven business strategy. He emphasized Keppel’s commitment to integrating sustainability across real estate, infrastructure, and energy solutions, aligning with Vietnam’s environmental goals.

The discussion also covered Keppel’s green building initiatives in Vietnam, including its smart and sustainable urban developments. Students gained a deeper understanding of how Keppel applies energy-efficient designs, smart technology, and low-carbon solutions to shape the future of urban living. The visit left a lasting impression on the students.
