Ho Chi Minh City, 26 November 2021 – Saigon Sports City won Gold for the “Best place or nation brand” and Bronze for the “Best visual identity from the property, construction and facilities management sector” at the Transform Awards Asia 2021 held on 23 November 2021. Saigon Sports City is a lighthouse project jointly developed by Keppel Land and Keppel Urban Solutions. Located on a 64-hectare site in the prime Thu Duc City of Ho Chi Minh City, Saigon Sports City is Vietnam’s first-of-its-kind integrated sports and wellness-focused community-centric township.

Saigon Sports City’s strategic brand building solution was designed by Sedgwick Richardson. Saigon Sports City’s brand, “Stay Ahead”, reflects the aspiration of championing quality of life and sustainable living in Vietnam. The development’s brand identity centres on the movement and flow of a flag, and utilises the initials “S-S-C” as abstract dynamic symbols. The primary brand identity is depicted through an energetic red, and a vibrant set of carefully-curated secondary colours are used to enhance the vibrancy and energy of the brand.

Established in 2009, Transform Awards Asia is the only awards programme that recognises the best brand work in the region and has evolved into a celebration of the indispensable talent that exists within the branding sphere. The 2021 Awards were judged by a panel of 20 in-house industry experts across a multitude of sectors.
