The Korea Festival, an annual event celebrating the vibrant culture and traditions of Korea, will be held for the third time at Estella Place shopping mall from 18 to 27 November 2022, bringing a host of exciting and uniquely Korean activities and experiences to shoppers.

Ho Chi Minh City, 18 November, 2022 - Estella Place shopping mall, jointly developed by Keppel Land Vietnam and Tien Phuoc, is pleased to host the third annual Korea Festival from 18 to 27 November 2022. Shoppers can look forward to myriad exciting activities inspired by the land of kimchi, such as traditional Korean games, authentic cuisine, hands-on workshops, and more.

The opening ceremony today was officiated by Mr Kwon Sun Chil, Vice Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Ho Chi Minh City, together with Mr Kim Kwan Mook, General Director of the Korea Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) in Ho Chi Minh City, Mr Nguyen Nguyen Phuong, Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City's Department of Industry and Trade, and Mr Nguyen Duc Minh, Senior Director (Vietnam) of Keppel Land.

Mr Nguyen Duc Minh said, "We are excited to have the opportunity to host the annual Korea Festival to bring the best of Korean culture and experiences to our customers and elevate their shopping experience. Through this event, we hope to celebrate the unique culture of Korea as well as introduce Korea’s famous and high-quality brands to the Vietnamese market.”

From 18 to 27 November, shoppers can visit food stalls with authentic Korean street food and explore the Korean Sale Festa, which will offer attractive promotions during the festival. This year, shoppers can take part in weekend workshops to learn how to make sogo drums and paper gyros, experience traditional Korean folk games and enjoy special art performances. Aside from the exciting Korean cultural activities, shoppers can also enjoy a complimentary 360o special photoshoot in traditional Hanbok attire with a minimum spending of VND1 million during the festival.

To cater to the growing reach of Korea’s entertainment, the festival will have a booth from the popular musical collective SMTOWN, featuring K-pop-related merchandise of artists under SM Entertainment such as EXO, Red Velvet, and NCT127. Shoppers can look forward to weekend special performance stages which will showcase exciting K-pop performance covers and flash mob dances with Pororo, a popular children’s cartoon in Korea.
