The Korea Festival, an annual event celebrating the rich culture and traditions of Korea, returns for its fifth edition at the Estella Place shopping mall. Visitors can look forward to a host of exciting Korean-themed activities and experiences.

Running from 11 to 20 October 2024, this eagerly anticipated event offers visitors a captivating showcase of Korean culture and an immersive experience for all ages.

The launch ceremony of the festival was graced by Ms. Jung Ga Yeon, Deputy consul-general, Consulate General of the Republic of Korea; Mr. Lee Hee Sang, Regional Director General for Southeast Asia & Oceania, Korea Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA); Mr. Jeong Joon Kyu, Director General, KOTRA Ho Chi Minh City; Mr. Han Joong Sub, Director, Representative Office of Daegu Metropolitan City, Ho Chi Minh City; Mr. Joseph Low, President, Real Estate (Vietnam), and Head of Retail, Keppel Ltd. and Mr. Richard Tay, General Director of Estella Joint Venture Company Limited.

This year’s theme, ‘The Royal Festa’, draws inspiration from the royal architecture of the Joseon Dynasty. Visitors will be able to explore the beauty of Korea’s palaces, set against the backdrop of an autumnal atmosphere. Additionally, there will be opportunities to shop for outstanding products from Korea at attractive prices.

Visitors can also look forward to a wide array of engaging activities with traditional Korean culture, including making hairpins and bracelets workshops, K-Pop modern dance performances, Hanbok performances, taking instant sticker photos, etc. A special highlight of the festival will be the appearance of Ho-rang-ii Tigers, a pair of mascots dressed in a Hanbok, symbolizing the courage, strength and peace of the Korean people.

Rewards+ members can receive a pair of Ho-rang-ii Tiger plush toys with a minimum spending of VND 1 million.
