Explore the best of Singapore at Saigon Centre

Gear up for the many exciting activities and rewards at the Singapore Festival, which will be held at Saigon Centre from 28 July to 9 August 2023.
 
Ho Chi Minh City, 28 July 2023 – In celebration of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Singapore and Vietnam and the 10th anniversary of the Vietnam-Singapore Strategic Partnership, Saigon Centre, Keppel’s flagship mixed-use development in Ho Chi Minh City, will be organising a Singapore Festival from 28 July to 9 August 2023.

The event will immerse shoppers in the vibrant culture and rich traditions of Singapore and showcase a variety of Singapore-related products through mall-wide promotions, as well as provide shoppers with multiple Instagrammable spots against the backdrop of  Singapore icons such as Merli and Supertree Grove at Gardens by the Bay.

The opening ceremony was graced by His Excellency Mr Jaya Ratnam, Ambassador of Singapore to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, and Mr Roy Kho, Consul-General, Consulate-General of the Republic of Singapore in Ho Chi Minh City, together with Mr Joseph Low, President (Vietnam) of Keppel’s Real Estate Division.

Mr Joseph Low said, “As a project developed and managed by a Singaporean company, Saigon Centre is pleased to organise the Singapore Festival in conjunction with the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Singapore and the 10th anniversary of the Vietnam-Singapore Strategic Partnership, with the support of the Singapore Tourism Board. We hope that the Singapore Festival will provide our shoppers with many unforgettable moments through the various exciting activities and opportunities to explore high-quality Singaporean brands and culinary delights.”

The Singapore Festival will introduce shoppers to a wide array of interesting activities such as Ang Ku Kueh (“Red Tortoise Cake”) making, face painting, Merli figurine colouring, phone case decorating, and Singapore cuisine cooking workshops by participating tenants. Saigon Centre’s Rewards+ members can also receive special rewards such as a Merli plush toy with a minimum spending of VND2 million, as well as a Saigon Centre VND200,000 gift card with a minimum spending of VND2 million on Mastercard cards.

The Singapore Festival is held alongside the Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) Department of Industry and Trade's “Shopping Season” promotion programme for 2023 from July to September, which seeks to invigorate the shopping and entertainment landscape in HCMC.
