Environmental Management

Keppel's real estate division is committed to minimising its environmental impact and is focused on sustainable management and efficient use of natural resources. Environmental Targets

Keppel's real estate division is committed to reducing its absolute Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 100%, and reducing Scope 3 GHG emissions from purchased goods and services by 20% per square metre, both by 2030 from a 2020 base year. We are the first in Asia’s real estate sector to set a near-term 100% reduction science-based target for Scope 1 and 2 emissions in line with the 1.5°C trajectory. We also aim to increase the amount of green materials used to 50% by 2030, and we have set high BCA Green Mark targets for our developments.

RISE to the Challenge II

Promoting Eco-consciousness

Keppel's real estate division organises various environmental initiatives, including the ‘R.I.S.E to the Challenge’ outreach programme, to promote sustainability and climate change awareness among staff, tenants and the general public. This includes an e-book for students on a wide range of issues related to rising sea levels, including its contributing factors, consequences, mitigating actions and adaptation measures. Download the e-book here.
