Keppel Ltd. (Keppel) has been conferred the Impact Enterprise Excellence Award for Large Enterprises at the Sustainability Impact Awards 2024 for its contributions to advancing sustainability and creating positive impact on the environment and society.
Jointly organised by The Business Times and UOB, with the Centre for Governance and Sustainability at the National University of Singapore Business School as the knowledge partner, the Sustainability Impact Awards aim to recognise individuals and corporates in Singapore that demonstrate leadership in sustainability.
Mr Ho Tong Yen, Chief Sustainability Officer of Keppel, who received the award on behalf of the Company at the ceremony this evening, said, “Keppel is honoured to be a winner of the Impact Enterprise Excellence Award, which affirms our commitment to make a positive impact through the threefold approach of running our business responsibly, making sustainability our business by investing in and creating solutions for a sustainable future, and contributing to the community through volunteerism and philanthropy. As a global asset manager and operator, we will continue to push the envelope to address some of the world’s most pressing needs through our sustainability-related solutions spanning infrastructure, real estate and connectivity, and contribute to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.”

Keppel is also helping its customers and communities on their net zero journeys through business initiatives such as renewable energy import, developing Singapore’s first hydrogen-ready power plant, fostering sustainable urban renewal and digital connectivity. To benefit the wider community, Keppel contributed $4.3 million to social investments and industry advancement in 2023.
Keppel’s sustainability performance has been recognised through various indices and awards.
