Keppel is ranked in the Top 1% in the industry in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2026, the only Singapore company ranked within the Top 10% of their industries. Keppel was also included as a constituent of both the Dow Jones Best-in-Class World Index and the Asia Pacific Index for the fourth consecutive year.
Singapore, 20 May 2026 – Keppel Ltd. (Keppel) is pleased to receive the distinction for being the Top 1% in the industry in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook (Yearbook) 2026, which distinguishes companies that have demonstrated strengths in corporate sustainability. The distinction was presented by Mr Thomas Yagel, Head of S&P Global Sustainable1, to Mr Ho Tong Yen, Keppel’s Chief Sustainability Officer, at an S&P Global Energy event today, held as part of Ecosperity Week 2026. Keppel is one of 70 companies globally to attain the Top 1% Corporate Sustainability Assessment score, and is the only Singapore company ranked within the Top 10%.
More than 9,200 companies worldwide were assessed this year, with 848 selected for inclusion in the Yearbook 2026. This is the first year that Keppel has achieved the Top 1% ranking in the industry, having been ranked in the Top 5% in the 2025 edition, and the Top 10% in the 2024 edition.
Earlier this month, Keppel was also included as a constituent of both the Dow Jones Best-in-Class (DJBIC) World Index and the Asia Pacific Index for the fourth consecutive year. Constituents were identified by S&P Global through the Corporate Sustainability Assessment.
Keppel is among 317 companies worldwide in the DJBIC World Index this year. The index comprises global sustainability leaders, representing the top 10% of the 2,500 largest companies in the S&P Global Broad Market Index (BMI) based on long-term economic, environmental and social criteria.
Keppel is also among 162 companies in the DJBIC Asia Pacific Index, representing the top 20% of the 600 largest companies in the Asia-Pacific developed region in the S&P Global BMI based on the same criteria.
