Keppel Data Centre Funds

Powering Asia Pacific’s digital economy

Where digital demand meets institutional capital
The Keppel Data Centre Fund Series is Keppel's flagship pure-play private fund series for data centres, offering investors access to resilient assets with attractive returns managed by an established owner-operator with two decades of experience in designing, developing and operating data centres.

Mission

To build a scaled, high‑quality data centre platform across Asia Pacific, anchored by hyperscaler relationships, operational excellence, and disciplined capital deployment.

Private data centre fund series

We focus on acquiring, developing and scaling institutional‑grade assets across key Asia Pacific markets, targeting locations with strong hyperscaler demand, power- and land-constraints, and supportive regulatory environments. We seek to unlock value via development, campus deployment, repositioning, conversion and platform acquisitions, while emphasising downside protection through customer‑led development, integration with Keppel’s operating platform, and clear exit pathways to stabilised yield vehicles.
Fund I (2017)

Keppel’s inaugural data centre private fund, the Alpha Data Centre Fund, invests in institutional-grade assets in Asia Pacific. The fund leveraged Keppel’s expertise in developing and operating quality data centres, and laid the foundation for its data centre fund platform.

Fund II (2020)

Building on the success of Fund I, Keppel Data Centre Fund II invests in the fast-growing data centre sector across Asia Pacific. Leveraging Keppel’s integrated capabilities in development, operations and asset management, the fund captures opportunities across both greenfield and brownfield assets.

Fund III (2025)

Keppel Data Centre Fund III is the third vintage of Keppel’s flagship data centre fund series, targeting investments in a portfolio of hyperscale, AI-ready data centres across Asia Pacific. With a target fund size of US$2bn, the fund aims to capitalise on structural demand driven by digitalisation and the growth of AI.

Responsible Investing

We integrate ESG considerations throughout the investment lifecycle, recognising sustainability as a core component of prudent risk management and long‑term value creation in data centre investing.

Given the energy‑intensive and mission‑critical nature of data centres, we place particular emphasis on environmental performance and operational resilience at the asset level. ESG considerations are incorporated from investment underwriting through to development, asset management and exit, with the objective of enhancing asset quality, regulatory resilience and long‑term asset value.
